This handsome antique Coal Scuttle/Hod displays a very warm patina with wood and brass (handle, knob and decorative trim). It includes the ash shovel that is stored on the back bracket. The lift out metal insert that holds coal or logs is still in very good shape. Its appearance is consistent with its age. It still maintains solid joints and firm construction.
