Fabulous Edwardian/Art Nouveau, finely hand-carved, landscape, oval, shell cameo brooch.<br>Measuring 1 5/8" x 1 3/8" x 1/4" deep, this scenic cameo is bezel set into a gold gilt frame.<br>The early 1900s, single-prong, rollover clasp holds securely.<br>This stunning, antique, expertly carved landscape cameo depicts a dimensional Italian scene that includes cypress trees, foliage, rock etched building with a tower and wood-plank door, boulders leading down to water, a single female walking figure, and wispy clouds.<br>The attention to detail is wonderful!<br>This lovely 110+-year-old cameo brooch is in exceptional condition. No scratches, pitting, cracks, or grunge to front of shell cameo.
