This is beautiful large antique Art Nouveau sterling silver brooch / pin, designed and signed by Firmin-Pierre Lasserre, (visible in the pictures) a French medalist and sculptor. The image depicts a late Victorian lady with elegant coiffed hair holding a elaborate flower, and flowers adorning the border of the gorgeous brooch. Perhaps a Gibson Girl image is on a floral ground. The French Repousse Brooch, Jugendstil has stamped on back side (925), probably c.1900. Solid sterling silver 925 marked and tested, JSP testing solution was used to verify all precious metals which all tested 925/1000 Sterling Silver. As with any antique jewelry, there could be some wear, this fabulous vintage brooch has incredible details, in wonderful antique condition.
