Beautiful Antique African Kifwebe Female Mask, 14 inches tall. Songye Tribe, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Handmade Tribal Art. Tribal Ceremonial Mask / Wall Decor. Circa 1800s to early 1900s.
Approx. 14” Tall X 7” Wide x 3.75” Deep. Hand carved and hand painted. Carved and textured hair. Holes on the sides for adding decorations. Nice artwork and details. Great textural interest. See photos for condition. Good previously owned antique condition. Signs of use and age including some broken off wood at the back top and one side by one of the holes. The wood was cut through too much under the right eye piercing the wood. AS-IS. Untested.
