The coin in the image is an Ancient Chinese Kangxi Tongbao (康熙通寶) coin from the Qing Dynasty, minted during the reign of the Kangxi Emperor (1661-1722 AD) <br>Inscription: The four Chinese characters on the obverse (front) side read "Kangxi Tongbao" (康熙通寶) when read from top, then bottom, then right, then left around the square hole.<br>"Kangxi" (康熙) refers to the reign title of the Kangxi Emperor.<br>"Tongbao" (通寶) translates to "universal currency" or "circulating treasure," a common term used on Chinese cash coins to denote their function as currency.<br>Design & Features:<br>Like most traditional Chinese cash coins, it is round with a distinctive square hole in the center.
