Co. which<br>operated until 1936 when it closed.<br><br>Ironically, another pottery company<br>of similar name was also formed in 1906;<br>The Western Stoneware Company.<br>This company was the result of a<br>merger of 7 midwestern companies:<br>Monmouth Pottery Co.<br>Weir Pottery Co.<br>Macomb Stoneware Co.<br>Macomb Pottery Co.<br>Culbertson Stoneware Co.<br>Clinton Stoneware Co.<br>Fort Dodge Stoneware Co.
