The Tree Planting Initiative of KIA-JDPH.

Our Tree-Planting Campaign in Northeast Nigeria.

The official launch of our Climate Change Action Project: Plant a Tree, Save the Earth was marked by the planting of 1,000 tree seedlings throughout North-Central and Northeastern Nigeria by Community Health, Justice, and Peace Initiative for Development in collaboration with Kerk in Actie. 🌍💚

Our committed team travelled to Adamawa State from August 26 to 29 to visit the communities of Kumbula and Shuwa in Madagali LGA and Likuni in Michika LGA.

This initiative goes beyond planting trees. It is about nurturing hope, protecting our environment, and empowering young people to take ownership of the future they will inherit.

When we take care of the Earth, the Earth takes care of us, so we are working together to fight climate change and build stronger communities. 🌿

JDPH Tree-Planting Campaign Update

Our team’s dedication to environmental conservation led to successful tree-planting events in the Butura company and Matalem communities within Bokkos LGA, Plateau State. These initiatives exemplify our ongoing commitment to rejuvenating Nigeria’s landscapes and fostering sustainable development in local communities. Through these efforts, we aim to create a greener, healthier environment for future generations.
